Venice Boulevard is my experimental web site. It permits me to create and test HTML code as I study web design. Most of the pages below were created in Dru Morgan's Web Design class at the Venice Skills Center, Venice, California. I used Notepad and Tripod FreeForm, as well as FrontPage and Dreamweaver, to create these and other pages.

You might wonder why some pages are included. The reason is that they were exercises I did to learn HTML (HyperText Machine Language). I have included them as a reminder of what I have done and as a reference in case I need to check how something can be done.

These exercises are in a book on web design called HTML and XHTML in 24 Hours by Dick Oliver (Fifth Edition), Sams Teach Yourself Series, Indianapolis, IN 46290. This book is widely available. I purchased mine at Border's in Culver City for $24.95. You may try the online exercises for free at the 24 Hour HTML Cafe. Don't be afraid! You'll have fun!

My primary web site, Tuxedo Junction, showcases my love of jazz and big band music. I modified all of my web pages and created many new ones as I studied HTML in Dru's class. You'll find plenty of articles, photos, and more than 300 MP3 56K songs on Tuxedo Junction! Stop by often!
